After suffering the loss of his brother, the Founder of Sup Dogs Restaurants, Bret left his job in sports radio to take up his brother’s vision for a laid back restaurant with good food, good drinks, and a lively atmosphere. I can’t wait for you to hear about Bret’s passion for his employees, dedication to learning the restaurant business, and the fun atmosphere he created as a result of hard work. Bret’s Bio: 

After graduating from James Madison University in 2003, Bret Oliverio worked for almost 9 years as an Executive Producer and Asst. Program Director for CBS Radio in Washington, DC. Bret’s brother, Derek, started Sup Dogs Restaurant, located in Greenville, NC, in 2008. Derek unexpectedly passed away in a house fire in late 2011. Shortly thereafter, Bret left his career in radio to take over Derek’s business in hopes of continuing the Sup Dogs dream. Bret jumped into the restaurant business with zero experience. He has been the Owner/Operator of Sup Dogs Restaurant since February 2012. In June 2014, Sup Dogs opened their second location in Chapel Hill, NC.
